These weeks after Easter Sunday are weeks of celebration in the Christian church. But for the disciples of Jesus, those weeks were times of confusion, isolation, and fear. Will the Romans kill them too? How can they face life again without Jesus? Join us for worship.

This joyful Worship Service, following on the heels of Easter Sunday, shows us the disciples living in a world of fear. They are not shouting "Alleluia!" (We are.) The man they followed, whom they unfollowed when he was in trouble, has sent them into hiding by virtue of his terrible "death." Would they keep the faith? Join us in worship.
Sometimes just talking about God helps us grow in faith and hope. Have a cup of Joe with Pastor Jaime and talk about Scripture, faith, life, or whatever is on your mind. Stop in at Vintage Grounds, a local coffee shop, from 1-2 pm on Tuesdays in April. Click here for more info or directions.
Bethel's next Senior Dinner is Tuesday evening, May 14th, at 4:30 pm. Bring a family member or other guests and enjoy dinner together two days after Mother's Day. Reservations fill up fast; please RSVP to Muskego Food Pantry at (262) 679-6448 with dinner count and name of party. After dinner at 6 pm, we offer evening worship to celebrate God's presence in our lives.
Our Noisy Can Collection in April supports Lutherdale Bible Camp in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Tap the link below to learn more about this camp experience, which blends life-changing adventures with lessons in God, faith, and living in harmony with each other. Look for the Noisy Can when you visit Bethel this coming month.
*Bethel's "Noisy Can Collection" earns its name when you drop your spare change into a tin can, drawing our attention to community needs that might otherwise go unnoticed.
Bethel's Faith, Family, Fun program help busy families spend meaningful time together while sharing faith. Join us the second Saturday of each month from noon to 2 pm. Share the love of God over lunch, talk through a Bible story, and create a craft project. All are welcome. Bring a bag lunch; treats will be provided. Saturday afternoon, May 11th is our season finale before we recess for Summer.
Bethel's new monthly Bible study has started and meets on the second Tuesday of each month. "How to Read the Bible" will be held Saturday, May 11th from 10-11:30 am. You don't need to prepare for this, or even bring a Bible. (We've got extras!) Just arrive at the church in casual clothes, ready to share insights and camaraderie. If you'd like to stay for Faith Family Fun at noon it's our season finale. Join us for either or both events.
Thank you for making our Easter basket collection complete this year, with 77 finished baskets assembled: 55 went to the Muskego Food Pantry, others to homebound members, and some were donated to the Scott Christian Youth and Family Center Food Pantry in Milwaukee. Thank you to the many volunteers who contributed in any way to this wonderful tradition.
